*** More information about the area; Roldán is an authentic Spanish town in the municipality of Torre Pacheco. Characteristic of Roldán is the pleasant square in the heart of this village. There is a church and several bars there. Roldán’s perfect location makes it a popular spot for golfers. Roldán is located between two well-described Jack Nicklaus golf courses. The beaches of the Mar Menor are within a 15-minute drive.

Roldán is located on the Costa Cálida (Spanish for warm coast), which is south of the Costa Blanca and north of the Costa de Almeria in the Murcia region. The main city in this region is Cartagena, which also has one of the most important ports in the country. The coastline of the Costa Cálida can be divided into 2 parts; on the east side it is almost one long beach. On the south side one mainly finds rock formations. The beaches on Mar Menor are all sandy beaches, without tides, large waves and currents. The beach slopes so slowly that the first 50 meters from the beach is only 1-1.5 meters deep. Mar Menor is therefore very suitable for children, the elderly and disabled people. In high season the beaches are patrolled by lifeguards. There is also equipment for the disabled, so that these people can also enjoy the wonderful water.
